HOW TO COOK SADZA
You will need:
- mealie-meal
- water
Put aside around 1/4 of your mealie meal in a saucepan and blend the rest with around 3 or so cups of water to make a thick paste.
At that point gradually add this paste to the bubbling water, mixing constantly, this will keep irregularities from forming and cause the mixture to boil once more. Be careful not to let it jump out to your skin or face! Continue cooking and blending for a couple of more minutes.

At that point gradually add the remaining mealie meal to the pot. The sadza ought to be thick and smooth, it ought to then start to draw from the sides of the pot and start sticking to your mixing stick. Cook for a couple of minutes more. Let it simmer inbetween whilst also making sure than it does not burn. Mix again for the last time and then ....That's it!
Serve your sadza (isitshwala or pap) with relish or meat (nyama) and enjoy with friends and family!!
